COVERAGES AND TERMS

Repair Authority’s repair warranty will cover a mechanical or electrical failure of the device during normal usage for the term of 90 days from the invoice date. This warranty applies only to the parts replaced and associated labor charges from your original repair. The replacement parts used will be new, rebuilt or non-original manufacturer's parts that perform to the factory specifications of the product and will be selected at our sole discretion. Repair Authority reserves the right to have your product repaired with a third-party vendor.

This repair warranty covers CPAP/BiPAP devices, oxygen concentrators, portable oxygen concentrators, ventilators, liquid oxygen systems, transfill devices or other equipment serviced by Repair Authority. This includes coverage for parts and labor costs to repair or replace your product where the problem is the result of a failure caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear;

  • Damaged or defective buttons or connectivity ports located on the device as a result of normal wear and tear or manufacturer defect;

  • Non-working displays that are not a result of accidental damage or caused from drops or spills; or

  • Defects in materials or workmanship.

This warranty does not cover repair or replacement of your product for any of the causes or provide coverage for any losses set forth in the section entitled “WHAT IS NOT COVERED” below.

IF A COVERED PRODUCT REQUIRES SERVICE

To file a warranty repair claim on a Repair Authority service, please send an email to dealer@repairauthority.com and include “Repair Authority Warranty Claim” in the subject line. Please provide the following information:

  • Serial number of the device

  • Original invoice date

  • Original service ticket number

  • Ship-to location that the unit was returned to

  • Description of problem resulting in warranty claim

A member of our team will respond within one to three business days to discuss your claim. After filing your claim, the device must be returned to Repair Authority within 30 days of filing. If the device is not returned promptly, and arrives after the warranty period has expired, it will not be considered a warranty repair and will be serviced at the customer’s expense.

This warranty does not obligate Repair Authority to provide a loaner device during the time that the unit is undergoing repair. Do not return products to us without prior consent.

For items sent in for repair that are found in working order and without need of repair, a return shipping fee will be charged to you before your product is returned.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY

The total amount that Repair Authority will pay for repairs or replacement made in connection with all claims made pursuant to this warranty shall not exceed the original repair invoice. In the event that Repair Authority makes payments for repairs or replacements which, in the aggregate, are equal to the Coverage Amount, or provide a cash settlement reflecting the replacement cost of a new item of equal features and functionality, we will have no further obligations under this warranty plan.

WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOST TIME, OR LOST DATA RESULTING FROM THE FAILURE OF ANY PRODUCT OR EQUIPMENT OR FROM DELAYS IN SERVICE OR THE INABILITY TO RENDER SERVICE.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

It is your responsibility to properly maintain, store and use your item according to the manufacturer instructions. If warranty repair is needed, properly ship the device to ensure it is not damaged in transit and include a copy of your original service invoice with your returned unit.
